Create and edit your own geographical oddities with Google Map Maker! This new Google Map App is now available for U.S. edits and is putting the power of Google Maps directly in our hands. Now we can update and make changes to Google Maps ourselves. What a great innovation!

Introducing Google Building Maker!

Have you ever played Sim City? Well Google Building Maker is like Sim City in a lot of ways but it's for real! Google Building maker is a 3D model tool for adding buildings to Google Earth.

It's easy to use and of course fun. Here's a video explaining how it works.

But wait, there's more!

You see, as great as this feature is it had some restrictions. For instant, you were originally only able to use areal images for your model. May of us wanted crisper pictures and imagery. Sometimes there were problems with poor textures caused by other buildings blocking your buildings view. All of this issues have now been resolved making this truly an impressive application.

Now you can upload your own photos for building creation! This means a instead of looking like a Sim City building your building can have crisp definition and impressive detail such as in the example below.

Think that's exciting? Well now you can even add imagery directly from Street Views on Google Maps.
